Festering Wounds

Festering Wounds are wounds that does internal damage very round. They start with an amount X of damage and the X-1 in the next round, X-2 in the next but one round and so on until the damage becomes zero.

The total amount of a festering wound can get huge i. e. a 50 points festering wound does 50+49+...+1 = 1275 total damage.

A festering wound can be healed by a Heal spell of CL41+ from a Druid, Cleric or item (with an augmenter or the Myco Holy Symbol Impulse to Procreate)

There are a limited selection of items available that give complete immunity to the Festering Wound effect.
