The guild is an order, which means the members are bound together by their ideals and their mutual respect for one another and not so much a formal hierarchy.

There is no obligation to spend all your time exclusively with your fellow guild members. There is an expectation that each member provides for his/her own needs. There is no obligatory equipment sharing or mandatory help when tagging characters. We would like our members to be leaders in the HG community, i.e. leading runs, not people who are overly dependent others. Membership is a relationship of equals dedicated to common causes rather than one of dependence.

Potential members may be invited to join or make their interest known to other guild members. Members are expected to have a good reputation in the HG community and should have mastered basic character building principles AND have a minimum level of skill as a player. We want to have fun with our members, not drag them through areas. PvP is optional but we encourage members to develop new tactics and hone their skills for war and competition. We will be spending a lot of time in the Hells, so we will need a wide variety of character types so long as the builds are sound. You can guild one or more characters once you are accepted. Membership in other guilds is fine so long as they remain neutral in their relations to us.

We do not encourage putting the guild name or other guild markings on your guilded characters and encourage potential members to put a little creativity into their characters names.
