Other notes

  • This was originally a Kobold-based build (see [[1]]) created by The1Kobra. Credit goes to him for the original build.
  • Despite the original being built on an Open Subrace, it is not a true "Open Subrace" build, nor would I recommend it to a new player, for 2 reasons:
    1. There isn't any information in the build as to why certain feats were chosen when.
    2. It is expensive to level up, since you can't use any bottomless box of bolts until Level 25, and you're usually much better off using store bolts until Level 30.
  • This build assumes you're a demigod and using Robes of the Dim Mak Master. If you're not demi, you'll need Shield Proficiency (provided by the asmo ammy). Further, if you don't have those robes, your will save will only be 54 post-demi with this build. Current will saves don't really affect this toon much, but it is something to be aware of.
  • In the very deep hells, Clockwork Boots May not be the best boots to be wearing, due to the AC hit. If you don't want to wear them in that case, I would recommend Legendary Boots of Absorption instead, for the extra little bit of %elements (and the AC of course).
  • I know that the Dire Buckler isn't the best shield for this setup, but I don't have a better one atm unless I drop to a UR shield.
  • You could go all the way to Improved Sneak Attack X, if you drop Armor Skin and ESF: Listen. I do not recommend this, tho, since when you're using your crossbow, you have low AC already (even more so with the Clockwork Boots), and I have a feeling that ESF: Listen will buy you more damage than another level of Improved Sneak Attack.
  • This build needs both demigod status and the int artifact. Without both of these, you will not have enough int to max DT. You even need one of those for Search. With double demi, you could drop the int arty, but I still don't recommend it, since this setup doesn't really have room for confusion immunity.
  • In hindsight, being an elf base means you can also drop SF: Search. I would (and probably will, next time I reincarnate) take Skill Mastery at level 18, drop Armor Skin, and take 2 Improved Sneak Attack feats in their place, making it so that the build gets Improved Sneak X, for a total of 30d6 damage on sneaks.
