Description: When this spell is cast, the caster chooses to be protected from either good or evil. He receives a +4 deflection bonus to Armor Class, immunity to Stun, Daze, and Sleep used by creatures of the chosen alignment, and spell resistance 25 against spells cast by creatures of the chosen alignment. Creatures of the chosen alignment also take 6 + 1d8 damage each time they successfully strike the Cleric. When cast by legendary Cleric with at least 40 base Strength and no quasiclass, this spell grants critical hit immunity against neutral enemies and enemies of the target alignment. The Aura protects specifically against Stun, Daze and Sleep.
Notes
The aura protecting from evil (holy aura) deals divine damage, while the aura protecting from good (unholy aura) deals negative energy damage. Due to a game limitation, the alignment of an attacker does not affect whether or not the attacker is damaged by the aura. Nor does an enemy caster's alignment affect the spell resistance granted.
