Bank of Waukeen
From HGWiki
The Bank of Waukeen is located in the Docks of Ascension. Services provided are:
- Storage of items (up to 50 non-randomized items per chest; or up to 10 randomized items per chest) in both a character-specific and transfer chests.
- You are able to change which bankchest you are using with the command "!bc (name)." Names of bankchests can only be alpha-numeric (using letters A to Z, and/or numbers 0 to 9).
- "!list bc" will tell you the name of every bankchest tagged to your current toon/CD Key.
- To create a new bankchest simply type "!bc (name)" and open the bankchest. An empty bankchest with that name will be created for you by the server.
- A player may create an unlimited number of bankchests.
Since the switch in ownership, the bank has stopped holding gold for you. You must now use the "!Wallet" command set to access/store your gold. "!wallet" will show you the balence of your account. "!Wallet Deposit #" will deposit that much gold from your toon into your account. "!Wallet Withdraw #" will allow you to withdraw that amount of gold from your account into the inventory of your current toon. Keep in mind, these commands may only be executed in Non-PVP Areas. Also, gold in the inventory of one toon is not accessible by another toon until it is deposited into your account using the command above.
All gold and items stored in chests are tied to your CD Key NOT your login name therefore if you use more than one account (and CD Key) and find your chests do not have what you expect in them you should try swapping CD Keys before assuming the worst.
Common Questions & Answers:
NOTE wallets are linked to player names, bankchests are linked to CD Keys.
Question: My bank account is empty of gold! What do I do?
Answer: Make a post in the Bugs section of the forums and be sure to include any information that
may have contributed to the problem, ie. any banking activity that has taken place in the near past. It is unlikely your money will be returned as the contents of your bank account are not monitored, thus there is no way to prove how much gold was there. You may however help to stop a bug from ruining someone else's day.
Question: My item transfer chest is empty all of a sudden! What do I do?
Answer: Make a post in the Bugs section of the forum. As of the date of this posting, the contents of transfer chests are logged, so those items can usually be restored to you.
Question: What can I do to stop the items in my chest from magically disappearing?
Answer: Charged items such as wands or staffs can not be stored in the chest. When you close the chest with items of that type in it, it will not save. If you fail to notice and walk away, you will lose the items in your chest. The same applies to stackable items, ie. potions and scrolls. Also, when you close your chest, a notice will appear in green saying your items have been saved. If they have not been saved, a message will appear in red saying so. Be patient in times of lag as you may leave before ensuring your items have been saved.
Question: My bankchest is stuck open and will not save my items. How can I fix this?
Answer: Should a bankchest become stuck open, you will need to remove all of the items stored within it and then pull the lever next to the exit pedestle. If you do not fix a stuck chest containing your items, the next person who enters that bankvault may have access to the items in your stuck chest.
