Feywild
From HGWiki
Introduction
The Feywild is a set of 11 areas intended for parties of level 38-44. They are designed for allowing new immortals to gain levels relatively quickly, offering mobs that can be killed easily yet give a high amount of XP. The size of the spawns increases with party size, so that even a solo player can visit the Feywild without being overwhelmed. With larger parties, greater numbers of mobs spawn which results much faster XP gain, especially with insta-killing casters in the party.
There are no bosses or tags in the Feywild, nor any set loot locations. There are a couple of class secrets in these areas. The entire Feywild is safe for using loot-breaking spells. Loot occurs only as drops from killed mobs, but only if no-one in party is above level 49. Some mobs in the Feywild also drop Ingredients that can be brewed into potions.
Requirements
The required Fey Knife (available for a price from Merem Muddermidt in Rip's Wretched Brewery) is not sold to non-immortals.
General Notes
- The run is a free rest zone, Immortal characters will not fugue or limbo in Feywild.
Spawn Structure
Spawns are dynamic in that the numbers and types of creatures scale with player group size, paragon type creatures do not spawn in this area.
Ingredients for Fey Potions
If no party member is above the level 49 cap, some Fey, when killed, leave ingredients in a randomly chosen party member's inventory. These ingredients can be brewed into Fey potions at the alchemist in Ascension. Use the !forge command, then use the Command Targeter to select the ingredient to brew, and talk to the Alchemist to have a custom potion brewed. These potions can produce effects such as Levitation and Water Breathing however their use is limited due to cancellation of the effects on death leaving you without the survival ability you need for the area you are in.
This table lists the Fey that produce ingredients, the ingredient, and the resulting potion:
Areas
The Feywild areas can be reached by several Glowing Mists portals which connect the Feywild with Faerûn (the continent on which Ascension is located). From Faerûn, these portals must be opened with a Fey Knife, sold by certain shady character that hangs around pubs. When you get close to a portal on the Faerûn side, the Fey Knife will vibrate. The Glowing Mists from Feywild to Faerûn are always open. You can also portal from and to the Feywild with the PcScry port to leader function, and from Feywild to Ascension with a Gem of Teleportation.

Strategy and Tactics
No creature except Shadar-Kai in Feywild has any immunity or resistance to exotic damage types, except some have 5/- Magical resistance. For Shadar-Kai, no Know Vulnerabilities data is available, but they seem to have 50% Negative immunity.
As loot spawns directly from creatures here you can spam loot breaking spells with impunity as there is nothing you can break.
Arcane Casters
Weird is nearly a kill-everything spell in Feywild. The only mobs immune to it are the Wisps, the Plant creatures, and the Corollax. Death Magic is almost redundant; the only creature that can be killed by Death Magic but not by Weird is the Corollax. Plant creatures can be insta-killed by Horrid Wilting on a failed Fortitude save. This makes Pale Masters in particular extremely efficient, who can insta-kill everything except Wisps. Reverse Gravity is also an extremely useful spell to mop up the Weird immune mobs as it does excellent aoe damage not specific to an element type.
Divine Casters
Harm works on everything.
