The Badger's Challenge

The Celestial Badger holds shapechanging creatures in high esteem, and to benefit such creatures she has devised a challenge of self discovery, to find certain odd an assorted items scattered around Ascension and it's surrounding districts.

The Badger's Challenge is a quest to explore the depth's of the Pre-Legendary areas of Higher Ground in search of various items. The reward for bringing these items before the Celestial Badger is to have the true form of the Doppelganger character revealed. This quest can only be completed once per Doppelganger character (meaning any appearance change chosen through the quest is permanent and cannot be changed at a later time), only Doppelgangers may partake in the Challenge, and the appearance changing shall be solely at the discretion of the Celestial Badger or her various alter-egos. Additionally, the appearance requested must be a medium-sized appearance (see the table below for reference).

To complete the Badger's Challenge, one must obtain the following items:

• Rogue Stone

• Mortician's Lens

• Corpse Lord's Grafted Arm

• Seal of Kardkildontar

• Seal of Lithiucshas

• Bombers Bracers

• The Eye of the Beholder

Once you have acquired the above items, make a post in the appropriate thread to arrange a time where the Celestial Badger can bestow the new appearance upon you.

Possible Appearances

The table below contains all of the current medium sized appearances available on Higher Ground, save for those that have been deemed unacceptable decisions for technical or continuity reasons. This list is not a guarantee that an appearance contained within will be acceptable by the Celestial Badger. As mentioned above, final discretion on the appearance change lies with her.
