Equipment notes:

  • Armor - Medium armor is what you want. I, personally, use the Rona medium armor Breastplate of Hiraikos. Dance of Blades, Halomesh Hauberk, or Links of Binding would also be good.
  • Shield - When I first took this build to the hells, the dex AC limit on shields had not been implemented. It got implemented right before I did nessus, but it never really affected me, since I always used the Ever Watchful Eye shield (medium). That is the shield I would recommend you find and use until you get a BUR medium shield.

Other Notes:

  • Pre-Epic skills are not necessarily listed in the correct order. This is due to me populating the extra feats gained from going fighter from memory.
  • Upon reflection, I would drop Legendary Luck for ESF: Listen, since the lowest save in this build is 65 (I'd have done this, but miscalculated my saves and didn't notice until I was already in the middle of Tia). You could also drop Luck of Heroes, but I'm not sure what I'd take in its place.
  • I took Fighter at first level so that I wouldn't have to take 11(12) CHA at character creation, leaving me with more points for other things. You can gain 8 skill points by going Bard, but you'd have to lower WIS for CHA, which probably isn't worth it, since you'd only gain 4 concentration (11 should be enough with conc gear).
  • Speaking of Figher...why not Paladin instead? Because this toon is a reincarnation of my old "Evil Dragon", he uses the INT arty, which renders Paladin mostly useless. The other option - Blackguard - is a non-option due to needing 5 bard levels pre-epic to qualify for RDD, or 8 to qualify for BG. Either option nerfs my AB.
