General Information
I'm 30 and live in NYC. Born and raised in Montana, still get back to snowboard as much as possible.
Shard Elay got me hooked on HG in April 2008.
Gandoron. I originally created the name for Ultima Online...the original predecessor to all of these MMORPG games.
I've played EQ originally, still play a couple FPS online and other offline games, however HG is by far the best planned an balanced game.
Elay or .elay was an original Action Quake 2 clan.
Why Higher Ground?
Unfortunately, many of the mmorpg games are based off subscriptions with "expansions" providing a chunk of revenue. By making the expansions a virtual requirement for upgraded equipment it breaks many games. The DM's, Acaos and Funky in particular, do an amazing job with game balance, and I can't give them enough credit.
Toons
Why so little variety on the character names, this is a fantasy setting right...? Well I find it to be a bit of a pain to try to remember everyone's character names. In a group, when I look at the other portraits, I have no idea who is who. I have to click on every one of them to see the login, so I decided to just make them all the same. This way you always know it's me. Of course if I am 2x or 5x boxing, it becomes slightly more complex.
