best is to install the game directly at c:\neverwinter nights

For the install part:

Install Diamond NWN. That includes the 1.69 Critical Rebuild. If you use another install, I would run that file after the NWN install (NWN + both expansions). English install.
Multiplayer keys from GOG http://www.gog.com/game/neverwinter_nights_diamond_edition
They are (nowadays) listed unter your NWN diamond -> More -> CD-Keys
Then: Installed CEP 2.3 (Hak into HAK, tlk into tlk). I've downloaded that from Sabregirl's Site: here(Hak into Hak-Folder, Tlk into tlk-folder)
if you have trouble with "cep2_custom.hak", take this one (its mine): http://www.file-upload.net/download-9771400/cep2_custom.zip.html
Then: ARF2 download and Run: http://dl.hgweb.org/arf/arf2.zip
Update -> Show Update Dialog
Important: Mark option in ARF2 for modified exe and HG enhanced

Ingame to activate HGenhanced you have to type ingame: !enhmode (and a green text says that it is activated). It must be done on every character once and persists then.

- only abyss / asmo items scale to 16. abo / ely goes up to 14 at 70. abyss goes to 16 at either 70 or 80, depending on whether the item gives 12 or 14 . If a set item from Abyss grants +12 stats by default, it will raise to grant +14 at 70 and +16 at 80. If an item grants +14 stats it will grant +16 stats at 70(!!)
