!search

The !search SIMTools command is used to search for specific items on the ground around the targeted location. This is primarily used during Quests.

Usage

To use the !search command, simply hit enter to type text, type '!search', and hit enter again. You'll be given a Command Targeter item, if you don't have one. Use the Command Targeter's Active Ability on the ground in the area where you want to search. Note that the Command Targeter's effects are single use; you will need to enter !search again to use it a second time.

Tips

You can create a custom hotkey macro on using !search. Right click on the key you wish to use (e.g. F5) and specify !search for the text (any label name is fine). You can also drag the Command Targeter to a hotkey (e.g. F6) and search very quickly by repeatedly pressing F5 and F6.
