Attacks per round
From HGWiki
The term attacks per round refers to how many attacks a creature is able to make during a round (6 seconds).
The base attacks per round is determined by the creature's BAB (or UBAB in the case of a monk fighting unarmed or with a kama. Goad and nunchaku are considered monk weapons (like kama) for purposes of receiving unarmed attack progression and Flurry of Blows. At Monk 21, this expands to include quarterstaff and shuriken as well.).
BAB | Attack bonuses | Attacks per round |
---|---|---|
0 | +0 | 1 |
1 | +1 | 1 |
2 | +2 | 1 |
3 | +3 | 1 |
4 | +4 | 1 |
5 | +5 | 1 |
6 | +6/+1 | 2 |
7 | +7/+2 | 2 |
8 | +8/+3 | 2 |
9 | +9/+4 | 2 |
10 | +10/+5 | 2 |
11 | +11/+6/+1 | 3 |
12 | +12/+7/+2 | 3 |
13 | +13/+8/+3 | 3 |
14 | +14/+9/+4 | 3 |
15 | +15/+10/+5 | 3 |
16 | +16/+11/+6/+1 | 4 |
17 | +17/+12/+7/+2 | 4 |
18 | +18/+13/+8/+3 | 4 |
19 | +19/+14/+9/+4 | 4 |
20 | +20/+15/+10/+5 | 4 |
UBAB works similarly, except it's based on steps of 3 instead of 5. For example, a monk with an 8 UBAB would get 3 attacks per round at +8/+5/+2.
Additional attacks may be gained by using an off-hand weapon or with other effects or feats, casting Divine power or Tenser's Transformation with the appropriate casterlevels. For example, haste provides an extra attack per round, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting provides an extra off-hand attack, Divine power, and Tenser's Transformation all add up to two extra attacks when used as a self buff spell but not from items.
Attacks per round are also split up among three flurries.
