A shuddering, glistening cone of jelly and slime striated with veins of black and green rears up from the pit. Baleful red eyes swim in the thing's gelatinous body, and dripping pseudopods of tremulous ooze writhe with latent hunger in every direction at once.
The Faceless Lord often appeared to be a 9-foot-tall cone of slime striped with black, green, brown, yellow, and gray. At other times, he was nothing more than a pool of animated ooze. In all forms, Juiblex was covered in pulsating red eyes that could look in any and all directions.

Overview

Shedaklah is a bubbling morass of oozing, fetid sludge situated between two sluggish branches of the River Styx. Here and there, a low hillock or fungal forest peaks up from the plain of caustic, unintelligent slime. An overcast sky of mud-brown and rotten green clouds casts the layer in pallid gloom. Every few hours, a pregnant cloud bursts, spilling torrential rains of polluted water. A thin film of cloying moisture covers everything on the layer. Strange life forms form, sometimes by the will of the demons who reside here, but sometimes spontaneously.

Main threats

Alkilith slag (DC 100 discipline) they also drain 5 discipline if they deal damage with their acid cone, so restore VERY often (font of Restoration or Extended Greater Restoration are recommended)
Confusion, Fear, Sleep on part 2 onwards
Mord from Glabrezu (Part 1)
Amnesia from Laghathti (various maps although encounters in part 2 map 1 are highly likely)
Fortitude 60 is highly recommended. Damages: Acid Electrical Positive Divine
