Description: This spell may be cast on a single creature or as an area effect. A targeted creature of up to 100 hit points is killed instantly. As an area effect, this spell will kill all creatures with fewer than 20 hit points, to a maximum total of 200 hit points.
HG Enhanced
Adds +1 CL per Divination focus.
Adds 30 HP to each single-target effect range per CL above 20 (doubled/halved as appropriate for area of effect).
Treated as a Necromancy spell when cast by a Pale Master.
Notes
This spell does not have a somatic component, so it can be cast while wearing full armor and shield, ignoring arcane spell failure.

Whilst immunity to this spell can be added as a random property there are several set items that have it as listed below -

- Lifebane Crown
- Essence of the Last Word
- Logos
- Lies Hidden Beneath
You may wonder why you need to equip an item with specific immunity to the spell, this is because when it is cast by some high level creatures it pierces basic Death Magic Immunity and as it has no save if you do not exceed its HP maximum value you will die, repeatedly, over and over ad infinitum and if this is in a Fugue zone for your character this can have unfortunate consequences.
