Saving Pelor

This article is about the Saving Pelor run.
This run is different to the other Abyss runs in that it is set in an Abyss creature infested version of the Elysium run where you have to fight your way through the Thalasia maps and at the end instead of entering The Fortress of the Sun you will in fact be ported to the Invocation Chamber.
Therein Pelor awaits you, when you give him all of your wands he then proceeds with a ceremony to destroy them. It is worth noting that similar to other Abyss prince fights the wands are not actually taken unless you successfully complete the run.
During this ceremony he is vulnerable and you will be attacked by multiple waves of Abyss creatures, in a specific order, including Superior and Elite versions.
Black Blade of Disaster should be used frequently by as many party members as possible to keep spawns occupied, it is normally best to hold them in place away from Pelor to attempt to keep the main agro away from him.
Towards the end of the waves of creatures a Solar will spawn to assist in the fight although it quite often ends up being turned hostile and having to be killed to prevent it shooting members of the party.
You MUST' keep him alive via healing & Greater Restoration as if he dies your entire party will also be killed.
On successful completion all characters that had the five wand pieces will be given a Solar Mote and a selection of BUR loot will also spawn, if you do not already have the Elysium tag this will also be given (good for all the characters with a Paladin splash that do not fancy slaughtering Elysium creatures to get this tag).
There are no mini-bosses on this run just massive spawns of all the Abyss creatures from all zones.
