Duration: Instant

Description: Greater dispelling attempts to strip all magical effects from a single target. It can also target a group of creatures, attempting to remove the most powerful spell effect from each creature. To remove an effect, the caster makes a dispel check of 1d20 + 1 + (CL / 2) + (Abjuration foci * 8) vs a DC of (11 + target HD).

Notes

In some of later Legendary/Paragon areas of the module this spell (backed up with suitable Abjuration focii) can be used to debuff (or in some specific cases even kill) creatures that are immune to Mordenkainen's Disjunction and/or Spell Breach/Greater Spell Breach.
