Bard Spells are tied to Charisma, which determines what level of spell the Bard can cast, how many of each spell, and what the spell's difficulty class will be.

Bard spells are arcane, and are affected by somatic spell failure when wearing armour or holding a shield. The Still Spell feat can be taken to eliminate the chance of spell failure when wearing armour.
