Subrace - A subrace is a feature of DND and particularly NWN. In the Persistent World - Higher Ground a player may modify their characters' statistics and appearance beyond the normal game content given that they have access to a Standard Subrace, Secret Subrace, Ultra-Rare Subrace, Beyond Ultra-Rare Subrace or Extremely Rare Subrace. Standard subraces can be used on any account with no prior requirements all other subraces require that you obtain the item(s) required to use them and have a character of suitable level to use the item, you will then be able to create characters using the subrace on that account. If you attempt to create a character using a subrace you do not have access to you will not receive the benefits associated with this subrace and will receive a warning on login to this effect. Modifications happen post character creation and when you log into the Docks of Ascension the first time, bear this in mind during character creation as any skill increases and added feats will not show and it is possible to take feats that will then be given for free when you log in thus effectively wasting them. Stat points (positive and/or negative) are also added on first login so take this into account when allocating them during character creation.
